Can I work with my Keepod offline?

Yes. In order to do so, you must turn on the offline synchronization feature while you’re connected to the internet. To do so:

  1. Connect to the internet.
  2. Go to drive.google.com/drive/settings.
  3. Check the box in the “Offline” section. It may take a few minutes for the offline access setting to turn on. (Note: Don't worry about the recommendation to not use offline capabilities in public places or on public computers. Since you are using a Keepod, everything will be stored on your device and no trace will be left on the host computer.)

Now, you can prepare documents or a presentation while you’re offline. They will be synchronized with the cloud automatically once you connect back to the internet.

Certain apps and games in the Chrome Store also work offline after you download them. For example, the Gmail Offline app works offline.
